Overview

workshopOS is a managed platform for specialist vehicle businesses — campervan converters, adventure dealers, and utility vehicle operators who need more than a brochure site.

The public experience covers inventory, conversion packages, upgrades, testimonials, and enquiry capture. A separate admin dashboard handles listings, media, and day-to-day operations without a generic page builder in the way.

The live demo deployment showcases the platform on a campervan conversion business site.

Challenge

Specialist vehicle businesses often outgrow template websites and scattered tools:

  • inventory split across portals, social listings, and spreadsheets
  • sold builds removed from the site instead of compounding SEO value
  • slow, generic CMS workflows that do not match how stock and builds are actually managed
  • no calm operational layer for listings, media, and enquiries in one place

The goal was a repeatable platform — premium on the frontend, structured on the backend — that could deploy for different niches within the adventure and utility vehicle space.

Solution

workshopOS was built as a full-stack platform using:

  • Next.js (App Router) for SEO-first public pages and a responsive admin experience
  • Supabase for authentication, database, and secure multi-tenant-style data access
  • Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui for a consistent, accessible UI system
